AHS Poster Session Info

Poster Design

Size and mounting: Posters must be no larger than 3.5 x 5 feet. We will provide a rigid backing and pins for mounting.

Content: Your poster must include your name and Arizona university program or organization (this information should be prominent). Follow the basic format of a research paper: an abstract describing the hypothesis and sections on methods and conclusions.

Student Poster Judging

Student posters will be judged immediately after lunch on Thursday, September 10. Please be available in the poster room after lunch to meet with the judges and answer questions.

Poster Awards

A total of $1,000 in prize money will be distributed among the undergraduate and graduate student. Winners will be announced at the Friday awards luncheon.

Poster set-up and take-down

Set up: Wednesday, September 9, 1:00–7:30 PM or Thursday, September 10, 7:00–8:00 AM. When you arrive, check in at the registration desk so we can direct you to the poster area.

Take down: Friday, September 11, after lunch. If you need to make special arrangements, contact us before the conference.
