Presenting a poster? Here’s What yo need to know.
Poster Design
Posters need to be no greater than 3.5 x 5 feet (maximum), with your name and university program or organization prominently displayed. The poster’s format should generally follow a research paper — an abstract describing the hypothesis and sections on methods and conclusions.
Student Poster Judging
Student posters will be judged right after lunch on Thursday, September 14. Winners will be announced at the Friday awards luncheon. Please be available in the poster room after lunch to meet with the three judges and answer any questions they may have.
Poster Setup and Take-down
All posters should be set up on Wednesday, September 13, from 1–5 PM, and Thursday, September 14, from 7–8 AM. Poster set-up will be in Fremont. If you have any questions, please inquire at conference check-in. Posters will be
mounted on a rigid backing that will be provided in the set-up location.
All posters must be removed between 1:30–3 PM on Friday, September 15.
