Here\u2019s what you need to know.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Poster design<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Posters need to be no greater than 3.5 feet tall x 5 feet wide (maximum), with your name and university program or organization prominently displayed. The poster\u2019s format should generally follow a research paper \u2014 an abstract describing the hypothesis and sections on methods and conclusions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"791\" height=\"550\" src=\"https:\/\/ahssymposium.org\/bsmar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/posters.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1504\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ahssymposium.org\/bsmar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/posters.png 791w, https:\/\/ahssymposium.org\/bsmar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/posters-300x209.png 300w, https:\/\/ahssymposium.org\/bsmar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/posters-768x534.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 791px) 100vw, 791px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student poster judging<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Student posters will be judged right after lunch on Thursday, April 4. Winners will be announced at the Friday awards luncheon. Please be available in the poster room after lunch to meet with the three judges and answer any questions they may have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Poster setup and take-down<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All posters should be set up in <strong>Ballroom G<\/strong> on Wednesday, April 3, from 1\u20135 PM, and Thursday, April 4, from 7\u20138 AM. If you have any questions, please inquire at conference check-in. Posters will be mounted on a rigid backing that will be provided in the set-up location. AHS will also supply the push pins for you to mount your poster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must remove your poster between 1:30 PM and 3 PM on Friday, April 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need to make special arrangements <strong>prior to <\/strong>the conference, contact Chris Brooks (520-661-4403 or\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:cbrooks@cap-az.com\">cbrooks@cap-az.com<\/a>\u00a0).
