Join us Wednesday before the Annual Meeting and Ice Breaker Reception for a tour of the Upper Lake Mary Paired Watershed research projects presented by Dr. Abe Springer and City of Flagstaff Water Resources hosted by City of Flagstaff Water Resources’ Erin Young. We meet at the High Country Conference Center at 9:30 AM, hop in a van field school style, and drive to Upper Lake Mary paired watersheds. After a provided lunch at a lakeside ramada, we will visit the City’s water, wastewater, stormwater and recycled water systems. Bring water and sturdy footwear\/outdoor clothing appropriate for the Flagstaff weather in September (perfect and temperate, but potentially rainy and windy).<\/p>\n

Saddle up for the post-symposium shindig! Extend your stay in the beautiful Ponderosa Pines with a camp out at Dogtown Lake. BYO camping gear, campsites have been reserved in advance! Carpooling is HIGHLY encouraged. Opt in for a river kitchen-style dinner on Friday night. Saturday, choose your own adventure! For the extreme adventurer, hop in a side by side with SRP to check out a flume in the woods. Or, get your steps in with Abe Springer and visit the Big Spring (sturdy footwear, outdoor clothing, and plenty of water recommended). A third option is to explore the Williams area water resources. Post-daytime activities, meet up at Historic Brewing Company for dinner, then head back to camp for a jam out under the stars. Depart at your leisure Sunday morning.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Friday, arrive at Dogtown Lake in Williams, AZ after 4:00 and check in with the camp host. Set up camp.
