Workshop Description<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This hands-on training is designed for engineers and scientists involved in dynamic modeling and decision support for water resources applications. The focus will be on dynamic simulation and modeling techniques for incorporating uncertainty and evaluating system performance with multiple objectives. We will use GoldSim software to facilitate learning the concepts. Through hands-on examples, you will practice building your own water management model with a custom user interface, data input, model functions, and result processing for evaluating climate uncertainty and its impact on the quality and quantity of a typical water system. In addition, you will be introduced to scenario analysis, optimization, and results post-processing. If you are new to GoldSim, we recommend that you become familiar with it by working through the GoldSim free online course<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Cost includes lunch. Net proceeds will be donated to AHS Foundation to support student scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Jason Lillywhite has been using GoldSim since 2005 on consulting projects around the world, and he has worked for GoldSim Technology Group since 2010. He has applied models for water resources decision support and risk analysis.
