Hands-on Training for Water Management Modeling with GoldSim Software
Instructor: Jason Lillywhite, P.E. | Date: September 14, 2016 | Time: 1:00–5:00 PM | Cost: $50* | Limit: 30 people (first-come, first-served)
Much of the class is hands-on. Following along with the instructor, you will build a basic water management model that you can extend and modify later on. We’ll also explore ways to incorporate real-world problems into GoldSim. In addition, you will be introduced to scenario analysis, optimization, and results post-processing. This session is for those who have some experience using GoldSim. We’ll be discussing new features, so it will be helpful for seasoned users as well. If you are new to GoldSim and plan to attend the afternoon session only, please work through some of the steps on Learning to Use GoldSim.
*GoldSim is contributing the instructor’s time and travel expenses. Net proceeds will be donated to AHS to support scholarship and internship programs.

Jason Lillywhite has been using GoldSim since 2005 on consulting projects around the world, and he has worked for GoldSim Technology Group since 2010. He has applied models for water supply and demand forecasting, water rights allocations, reservoir operations, pump station control logic, pipe hydraulics, and scenarios related to stormwater, rainfall runoff, pipe networks, and water reuse.
Jason received an M.S. in civil and environmental engineering from University of Utah in 2008.
